About the event
We thrilled to invite you to our very first Dark Cornwall meetup at the legendary Roche Rock in Cornwall. Yes, the famous Roche Rock—home to the haunting legend of Jan Tregeagle, whose tormented soul is said to wander Cornwall’s wilds for eternity. In his desperate flight from demons, Tregeagle sought sanctuary within the chapel, but only managed to wedge his head through the east window, trapping himself between worlds. Eventually freed by a priest, his fate only worsened, cursed to spin rope from the sands of Gwenver Beach at Land’s End.
We’ll gather on December 7th at 7:30-8 am at The Rock to witness and celebrate the sunrise. We’ll have some warm refreshments nearby to ward off the morning chill, along with time to soak in the atmosphere of this mystical site.
